Sorry I know I’ve been gone very very long time. While I was gone I trained for a half marathon, completed it in October, lost 10 pounds, and now I’m training for a full marathon in June! These are a few things that I wanted to share:
1. Your body is capable of doing amazing things, so don’t underestimate yourself. If I can run 13 miles so can you.
2. When you slip forgive yourself, learn from it, and move on.
3. Goals are good! But take it slow. There’s really no rush. If youre not where you want your body to be for spring break, who the shit cares. Spring break just means you’re in progress. You have three months till summer and you get to spend three months walking around half naked with your sculpted abs.
3. And to those who are stressed and are being obsessive (this goes for me too)…stop and take a deep breathe. Stop searching on Google when you already know the answers. Stop weighing yourself every single day, especially when you know weight is not accurate in terms of measuring progress. It’s not necessary to calculate the exact number of calories, carbs, fats repeatedly in your head so don’t do it. Just relax. There are things that do aid in weightloss like caffeine, eating 5x a day, eating coconut oil, ect but it doesnt influence weight significantly. Im not saying research is bad but being obssessive is. Its stressful (inhibits weightloss) and time consuming. The most important thing is eating healthy and excercising.”Posted 4 months ago with 6 notes | reblog
